The Inspector

Paul is one of the original Oregon Home Inspectors. He has been performing Home Inspections for 24 years and completed over 13,000 fee paid inspections in western Oregon and primarily in the Portland Metro area. Experiences over time with the numerous building styles and products have proven to be the best teacher in this industry. Prior to home inspections, Paul bought and re-habbed distressed housing. Paul knows what he speaks of as he is one of the few inspectors in Portland whose knowledge is backed by personal experience of actually swinging a hammer, plumbing a sink or installing a roof.

He is a full member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and is a past board member in the local chapter organization (OAHI) in addition to present board member of the Oregon Real Estate Inspectors Association (OREIA) These organizations set high standards and provide ongoing educational opportunities, in which he regularly participates. Paul has had his license with the Department of Agriculture since 1983, which qualifies him to perform Pest inspections for the FHA/VA loans requiring form NPCA-1. He is also a member of the Oregon Pest Control operators Association.

Oregon West Inspections Inc. carries both the required state liability insurance and additional Errors and Omissions insurance for both home inspections and pest inspections.
